How fees are calculated

Insertion fee
|
When you list an item on eBay, you may be charged a listing (or insertion) fee. Insertion fees are charged per listing, per category, regardless of the quantity of items.

Final value fee
|
If the item sells, you're charged a final value fee. Final value fees are calculated based on the total amount of the sale and are charged per item.
The total amount of the sale is the final price of the item, shipping charges, and any other amounts you may charge the buyer. Sales tax is not included. |

If you add advanced listing upgrades to your listing, fees apply. Not all listing upgrades are available with every listing tool.

Store subscription fees
With an eBay Store, you create a central shopping destination where buyers can learn about you and all the products you sell. You'll receive tools for designing your Store, plus marketing and reporting features, and dedicated toll-free customer support.
When you open an eBay Store, you pay a Store subscription fee each month, which is included on your seller invoice. Your Store benefits start immediately.
- There are 3 Stores types: Basic, Premium, and Anchor.
- There are 2 Stores subscription durations: monthly (charged monthly, automatically renews monthly) and yearly (charged monthly, automatically renews yearly)

Supplemental service fees
If you use supplemental services, or other services offered by eBay or third parties, then charges associated with those services may also be treated as fees. Depending on the service, and at eBay's option, these charges may be included on your seller invoices as a fee, which may be charged to your automatic payment method on file, if any. Supplemental services include, but aren't limited to:

- Insertion fees and advanced listing upgrade fees apply to each listing you create, are charged at the time of listing, and are nonrefundable. Fee amounts are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live and when it renews.
- We require payment in full each month on accounts with an amount due of $1 or more. If you haven't paid the amount due by the payment due date each month, late fees may apply. Learn more about payment requirements, due dates, and late fees.
- We may limit the exposure of duplicate auction-style listings to ensure a positive buyer experience. If you list duplicate, identical auction-style listings, you'll be charged the full insertion fee for each listing even if a listing doesn't appear on eBay for the full duration of the listing. See the duplicate listings policy for more information.
- Seller fees don't purchase exclusive rights to web pages on eBay. We may, in our sole discretion and without consent from or payment to sellers, display third-party advertisements (including links and references thereto) and listings from other sellers on any eBay web page.
- When you submit your listing, it might not appear immediately in a keyword or category search. This can take up to 24 hours. Therefore, we can't guarantee exact listing durations.
- You acknowledge and agree that eBay may, upon 30 days notice to you via email, change your eBay Stores subscription type if you don't meet eBay's then-current applicable subscription requirements. If this occurs, you're billed as described above. Such change may increase or decrease the fees you pay eBay Stores
- At any given time you can only have one active Stores subscription across all sites per user ID.
- All Stores terms may change at any time in accordance with our User Agreement.
- Stores terms are in addition to any other applicable terms or policies on the eBay site.
- All fees are in US dollars.
